Our inaugural leadership cohort will set the agenda for the upcoming year to create resources that guide sustainable government innovation from a global perspective. The GovTech Global Alliance is a worldwide network of government, academia, and private sector partners who believe in harnessing the potential of cross-border collaboration to improve the public sector innovation ecosystem. By coming together, our network of alliance members can share lived experiences, key strategies, successes as well as failures, and build resources to amplify the impact of any single GovTech programme alone.

International recognition

We are delighted to have won a number of awards for our work. Changing the way governments work from within is difficult. Working as a membership, leaning in on each other, providing support, sharing tips, tricks and strategies means we are able to effect change and push new boundaries. Getting international recognition is hugely validating as it enables our programme teams to point to - and leverage - shared successes.

  • From nearly 200 applications, the CivTech Alliance will be one of three presenters on the main stage of the The Creative Bureaucracy Festival world’s largest festival for public sector innovation. Berlin 2 June.

  • It sets out some of the key examples of how governments are collaborating on innovative approaches to collectively deliver genuinely impactful cross-border solutions. Importantly, the report provides recommendations for governments to drive the evolution of public sector innovation globally.

    The GSUP 1.0 is one of the report’s case studies on pg. 15.

  • For the fourth year in a row, Apolitical celebrated innovative, groundbreaking teams that are changing the game through their Global Public Service Team of the Year Awards. 2021 was a challenging year, and public servants were pushed to be more creative, innovative, and thoughtful than ever before

    The ‘Climate Heroes’ category recognised public service teams who are working to make a greener, more sustainable future for themselves and their communities.

    We were delighted to win this after the initial shortlisting and then public vote.
