International recognition

As an Alliance, we are delighted to have received international recognition for our work on climate change, cross-border collaboration, and innovation diplomacy. That said it’s our programmes teams that make us who we are and as they push the boundaries at the leading edge of public service innovation, it’s great to see their efforts celebrated.

2022 SA Climate Leaders Awards

The CivTech Alliance- Global Scale-up Program celebrated becoming finalists in the 2022 SA Climate Leaders Awards. Aron Hausler is a co-founder of the CivTech Alliance Global Scale-Up Program and South Australia’s lead in the CivTech Alliance.

The judges considered the program to be a great example of global collaboration and an excellent initiative to showcase South Australia’s innovation and leadership.

Jan 22 - Apolitical Public Service Team of the Year (Climate)

For the fourth year in a row, Apolitical celebrated innovative, ground-breaking teams that are changing the game through their Global Public Service Team of the Year Awards.

The ‘Climate Heroes’ category recognised public service teams who are working to make a greener, more sustainable future for themselves and their communities.

We were delighted to win this after the initial shortlisting and then public vote.

OECD-OPSI report on Delivering and Enabling Impactful Cross-Border Solutions (March 2022)

It sets sets out some of the key examples of how governments are collaborating on innovative approaches to collectively deliver genuinely impactful cross-border solutions. Importantly, the report provides recommendations for governments to drive the evolution of public sector innovation globally.

The GSUP 1.0 is one of the report’s case studies on pg. 15.

Innovation diplomacy - Holyrood Magazine (Dec 21)
