The GovTech Global Alliance’s Global Scale-Up Programme returned to COP28 in Dubai, 1-6 December 23! We had a full programme coordinating:
ClimateTech showcases - our cohort of 18 companies got a fantastic global exposure opportunity meeting investors, stakeholders and key decision-makers from around the world. These were the culmination of our three month virtual programme where our companies got to present their solutions to policy makers, procurers and investors within regional ecosystems.
Ministerial engagements - utilising the Alliance network we set up key ministerial engagements between members. This year it was between Scotland, Nigeria, Lithuania and South Australia.
Panel sessions - three key panel sessions in the Blue and Green zones covering topics on cross border collaboration and govtech with the World Bank, the role of super-computing technology in mitigating the effects of climate change, and the necessity of sustainable digital infrastructure for climate resilience and disaster recovery.
