Two GovTech Global Alliance members were on stage at the Digital Tech Summit in Copenhagen in October. With the theme of Building European Tech Resilience, Arūnė Matelytė (GovTech Lab Lithuania) and Alexander Holt (Scottish Government) were in full action.

Arune’s session was on: What is the promise of GovTech for Future Societies and Welfare? Other panellists included Lars Zimmerman, (Co-Founder and Board Member of DigiCampus Deutschland), Carsten Orth Gaarn-Larsen (Senior VP, Technical University of Denmark), moderated by Kiann Stenkjaer Hein, GovTech Expert and Strategist.

Panel session on ‘Going green with tech’. Expertly chaired by Kim Stensdal , and delighted to be sharing the mainstage panel with Hilda Lilje (Tata Consultancy Services ) , Arne Flåøyen (CEO NordForsk ) and Lisa Holm (head of IT Sustainability at Arla Foods - who knew they were the world’s 4th largest dairy??). Topics around #innovation mindsets, #collaboration between public/private/academic sectors, as well as global trends.

Excellent insight into the ‘Digital State of Denmark’ with Rikke Hougaard Zeberg Christel Schaldemose = regulation vs freedom; digitalisation vs inclusion

We also had the pleasure of catching up with Anne-Sofie Saabye Møller (DTU) Nima Sophia Tisdall from Blue Lobster (GSUP 1 alumni) and Rasmus Elsborg-Jensen 🌱 from ReFlow (GSUP 2 company) (complete with articulated lorry and shipping crate from client A.P. Moller - Maersk ).
Loads of conversations with other folks within the Danish #entrepreneurial ecosystem.
