Private Sector and Corporate Membership
Become a Member!
Who Should Apply?
The GovTech Global Alliance (GGA) has limited corporate memberships available to companies from around the world who align with our vision to innovate public sector technology systems to deliver greater social benefit.
Mission Alignment
GovTech Global Alliance strongly centers equity, open access, and sustainability as bedrock values and practices. Before applying, please take a moment to familiarise yourself with our Mission, Vision, and Principles document.
What Sectors Can Apply?
Corporate Membership is not limited to any specific sector. The most important driver of private sector participation in our programs is a motivation to learn and contribute to a knowledge-sharing community with public sector alliance members. To maintain a culture of trust, we value long term relationships with our private sector collaborators as a main factor in the application process.
Typically, corporate membership is not a fit for early to mid-stage start-up companies. If you are a growing start-up who wants to learn how to work and scale with emergent GovTech markets, we offer resources and support through our GSUP program.
Individuals or Teams?
Private Sector membership must include a minimum of one representative and (generally) a maximum of two representatives who will become key points of contact. Private sector members will also have the ability to scope in other members from their organization based on the activities and relevant focus areas.
Representatives may belong to the same or different departments
Only one representative should initiate the application process
Commitment
There is no time commitment required for private sector members, however invitational engagement in special collaborations and alliance activities is a benefit of membership.
Membership for private and corporations is based on a three-tier sponsorship. More details about tiers and benefits are available on inquiry.
What to expect from the application process
The first step toward becoming a member is to fill out an inquiry form below.
This step is intentionally quick and easy. If you’re curious and want more information, fill out this form. When we receive your inquiry form, someone from our team will reach out to coordinate a video call in a time zone that’s convenient for you.
We’re sure you have a lot of questions, and the best way to get to know each other is with an informal conversation. This will also allow us to provide clarity and more information to share with your team.If it’s determined to be a fit, we’ll provide you with a more comprehensive questionnaire and, if necessary, assist with aligning other member participants in your corporate team.
The answers to your questionnaire will be circulated among other members of the GovTech Global Alliance.
After reviewing your questionnaire, the next step will be to match you with one or two other member organizations for a virtual meet and greet.
Factors that influence the match-matching process include key challenge area alignment, shared goals, member availability, and time zone considerations. After the match-making call, successful member applications will be referred to the GovTech Global Alliance governing board.
You’ll receive an email welcoming you to join the Alliance, in addition to other onboarding information to access private virtual spaces.
For your first meeting, we will support your team to prepare for a welcome/onboarding call to meet other members, highlight your agenda, and build connections within the GovTech Global Alliance.
From start to finish, this process may take as little as 3 weeks and up to 6 months from inquiry to onboarding. If you have a specific motivation to expedite the interview and application series, please let us know in your inquiry form.
